Waso is desolate, and the Njia Panda Bar and Hotel is where you relax while your shredded tyres are fixed.. The power line has not yet reached Waso, and the mobile signal is weak...but yes , the Panda Bar !
What was once the filling station at Waso..now replaced with Bush gas filling- is also the graveyard for two buses on the Ngorongoro- Loliono line that did not make it back
The Loliondo - Arusha road, is the only way to get to Lake Natron. It took a specially equipped Land Cruiser to handle it. Breakdowns here are not an option, especially in Chaga territory
