Somewhere around the end of 2016 we started a volunteer program to bring jazz to the Senior Center on Roosevelt Island. Its been great to have some wonderful musicians who have made the effort to come out and share the joy of jazz with the seniors. I cannot thank them enough, because they do this not only of the love of their music, but because they see the joy it brings! We play the popular songs of their youth and they enjoy it..but swing , goes to bop, and of course their are the bossa's
